AY-3-8910 Datasheet

The YM2149 used on the SuperSprite board was a licensed version of General Instruments AY-3-8910 PSG chip, manufactured by Yamaha. Whilst the chips are mostly the same, the YM2149 is better suited for use with the MSX chipset, as it is designed to derive it's clock signal from the V9958, and has a clock-halving function for this purpose.

The AY-3-8910 datasheet is supplied here, as it does contain additional, useful information that applies equally to the YM2149.
